Our Vision & Mission
Community Grove is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Tiverton, RI, serving as a welcoming space where neighbors come together to learn, create, and support one another. We offer peer-led groups, hands-on workshops, and collaborative projects. Our programs create opportunities for connection and resilience while helping community members navigate challenges or celebrate successes.

What We Do
At Community Grove, our work grows from the needs, skills, and passions of the people around us. We offer a mix of ongoing programs and evolving initiatives designed to strengthen both individuals and the community as a whole.
Mutual Aid Projects
We organize and distribute resources through community-led efforts such as food support, hygiene kits, seasonal supplies, and creative outreach. Mutual aid at Community Grove is rooted in dignity, reciprocity, and showing up for one another.
Skillshares
Peer-led workshops where community members share knowledge and hands-on skills- from art and crafts to cooking, herbalism, repair skills, and more. These spaces are about learning together, building confidence, and recognizing that everyone has something valuable to offer.
Community Coordination & Support
We collaborate with local organizations, grassroots groups, and service providers to connect people with resources, fill gaps in support, and strengthen existing networks. Our goal is not to replace services, but to help bridge access and build relationships across the community.
Inclusive Gathering Space
Above all, Community Grove is a place to gather. We provide a welcoming, low-pressure environment where people can spend time together, create, talk, and build meaningful connections. From youth drop-ins to art nights to free space for community meetings, we center belonging in everything we do.
